Remembering Sunder, one of Hindi cinema’s versatile supporting actors, on his 29th death anniversary today.

A versatile supporting actor, Sunder could be found in most Hindi films of the 1950s to the 1970s. Most often than not, he was the comic relief. Some of his notable Hindi films include Seema (1955), Howrah Bridge (1958), Solva Saal (1958), Apne Huye Paraye (1964), Phool Aur Patthar (1966), and Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya (1966). He also lent his voice as a playback singer for the films Zid (1945), Chandni Chowk (1954), and Mastana (1954) among others.
