Reema Lagoo (1958–2017) was a popular actress, who was known for playing many supportive and motherly roles in Hindi and Marathi cinema.
She had a presence on Marathi stage for nearly four decades. She played a lead role in the Marathi serial Tuza Maza Jamena.
She is well known for playing the main character’s mother in hit Hindi movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Aashiqui, Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Vaastav, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,”Kal Ho Naa Ho” and Hum Saath-Saath Hain.
