Sudha Shivpuri, born in 1937, gained fame as Baa in the TV serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” She graduated from the National School of Drama in 1963 and, along with her husband, founded the theater company Dishantar. Her film debut was in Basu Chatterjee’s “Swami” (1977), and she continued to act in several notable films and TV serials.
Om Shivpuri, born in 1938, was a renowned theater actor-director and character actor in Hindi films. He was the first chief of the National School of Drama Repertory Company in 1964 and later co-founded Dishantar.
