“DID YOU KNOW that M Bhavnani’s 1932 film “The Mill (Mazdoor)” is the only film that the legendary writer Munshi Premchand wrote?

In fact, he appeared in a cameo as a Union Leader in the film.
Ironically, workers at Premchand’s own press in Benares were inspired by this film to strike work for the non-payment of wages.”
