Gorgeous popular actress of Indian cinema Vyjayanthimala turned 82 today.

Vyjayanthimala is the first South Indian actress who made it as a national star and is one of the biggest ever Hindi film female stars in a career lasting almost two decades. Her stint with cinema is legendary.

Vyjayanthimala is also an accomplished dancer and one of those who introduced semi-classical dance to Hindi films. Her subsequent dance numbers in her films had earned her the title of ‘twinkle toes’
