The lead artist is the German photographer Joseph Wirsching. In the foreground are founder Himansu Rai & Rai Bahadur Chunilal. Seated to the right of Himansu Rai is Niranjan Pal. The great K A Abbas was a journalist then and can be seen standing 2nd from left.
